What to take with you?
The weather is usually nice this season of the year, but nights in June can be chilly.
Have a look at the forecast webpage before leaving (see links below).
You would need light and warm clothes for the mountain, as weather is unpredictable.
Before you apply, please make sure that you have the following. 
It is obligatory to take with you the following, in order to ensure your safety in the mountains,
otherwise, students you will not be allowed to take part in the field sessions:
  •     mountaineering shoes  
  •     rucksack  (sac-a-dos) for hiking 
  •     warm clothes for the mountains, gloves, cap
  •     raincoat
  •     hat, sunglasses, sun-protection cream
Besides, it is useful to take with you
  •     Binoculars
  •     Torch
  •     Field guides for birds, butterflies, plants etc
  •     Laptop (we will need one laptop per 2-3 students)
Finally, take your swimsuit!
There are natural pools for brave swimmers!

Important Dates

  •     09 January 2012: Registration opens
  •     15 March 2012: Registration closes
  •     15 April 2012: Announcement of participants
  •     24 June 2012: Arrival in Ioannina
