Lectures wiil be held in the lounge of the oldest traditional stone house of the Papingo village. The house dates from 1600, and it constitutes a “living museum” presenting the traditional style of living of agricultural families in mountains, centuries ago. It is currently a hotel under the name "tospitimas", meaning "our home". Its restoration lasted five years, but it is open now to host the GSS, as an event perfectly in line with the atmosphere of the house. It belongs to Haritakis Papaioannou, a conservation biologist himself who will guide our team to the high mountains during the last field session.
