Successful Erasmus participants of the five Universities taking part will receive a travel and participation grant, covering the following costs:
- 90% of travel expenses to Ioannina (airtickets, boat or bus ticket)
- Your transport upon arrival and departure from Ioannina town to the residence site (Papingo)
- Accommodation in Papingo (breakfast not included)
- Welcome Dinner at arrival date
- Field transport, field excursions, all tuition fees and use of research equipment
- One year membership to the Society for Conservation Biology + membership to the European Section + online Subscription to Conservation Biology Journal
The Greek Summer School does not cover:
- The remaining 10% of your travel expenses to Ioannina
- Medical insurance
- Any other cost not includes above
More information on reimbursement procedure will be given after student selection.
Successful SCB-participants from all over Europe will receive a grant, covering the following costs:
- Your transport upon arrival and departure from Ioannina town to the residence site (Papingo)
- Welcome Dinner at arrival date
- Field transport, field excursions, all tuition fees and use of research equipment
- One year membership to the Society for Conservation Biology + membership to the European Section + online Subscription to Conservation Biology Journal
- A grant of 300 euros from SCB EUROPE for each SCB participant
The Greek Summer School does not cover accomodation, travel expenses to Ioannina, medical insurance and any other cost not mentioned above. However, the coordinator arranged a special price of 40 Euro/ day for SCB-students. This price includes accomodation in Nikos Tsoumanis hotel, sharing a rooom for three, breakfast and one meal per day. There are no cooking possibilities in your hotel.
