T e Erasmus IP school 2012, the 5th in the series, is open to undergraduate students from the five Universities involved in the Erasmus IP programme. All students of the six Deparments participating in the Erasmus IP may apply, and even students of different Departments of the above mentioned five Universities. A total of 15 students will be selected on a competitive basis. In order to maintain the international character of the Greek Summer School the organizing committee will ensure that all five European countries (Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, UK) are well represented.
Furthermore, this year the Erasmus IP in collaboration with European Section of the the Society for Conservation Biology invites three more students from all over Europe, including Turkey to apply. The course targets undergraduate students mainly. However, it is open not only to undergraduate students, but also to graduate students, or early post-graduate students. PhD candidates should not apply, as the course might be too introductory for this academic level. SCB-students will recieve the course for free, but they shoud cover accomodation, health insurace and travel expenses on their own. Please see relevant information regarding cost. All students (Erasmus and SCB-students) will participate at their own responsibility and under their own private health insurance. Students with health problems (epilepsy, heart problems, dangerous allergies etc) are requested to take appropriate advice concerning their physical ability to participate in the mountaineering field session before applying.
